Levelling Box Puzzle

Instead of buying a complete levelling box at forty quid i have got just the worm for £6. Problem is, how do you get the worn one out and the new one in? Answers on a postcard, please, first correct entry wins a prize.

I think that's all my loader questions answered, it's certainly given me something to chew on. Thanks to everyone who has contributed to this topic, much appreciated.

Andy, you've got the same set-up i was thinking about. What's the furthest coupling for, a tipping trailer?

When crawling under aforementioned tractor i found the holes i was measuring were for the pick up hitch and nothing remotely to do with the loader. I think i may have been in the sun too long :?

Thanks for the pics, i've now got something to work with. I now need to know what bolts to use to fit the loader to the tractor. I'm going to crawl underneath with a welding rod to find the depth of the holes but 1) what type of thread are they, are they coarse or fine thread? 2) do i use standard o...

Any chance of some pics from you chaps, we seem to be singing from the same hymn sheet . While i'm at it, James, can you get a pic or describe where you fit the bracket that goes between the bottom of the radiator guard and the front axle. The bracket that came with the loader is far too short to re...

O.K., after weighing up the advice given, i'm ordering a pair of 6.00x16's tomorrow. That's one question solved, the other is relating to the loader itself. The loader i have looks the same as the one in jambug's plough pic. I want to fit a ram to tip the bucket or pallet forks. I'm assuming there's...

Thanks for all the advice chaps, seems like the 6.00x16's are the best way to go. I don't want to go making trouble for myself although i was thinking of fitting power steering to counteract the width of the tyres, what do you reckon to that idea?

Wide front tyres

Does anyone know what size rims will fit to take wider than the standard 6.00 x 16 tyres in order to fit a front loader.

I got mine through Ebay from Malcolm Hipperson. Can't find the address but i think he's in Norfolk. I got the whole fitting though, not just the rubbers. Hope this helps.

Plough for Super Dexta

Brian, re. your reply to a post asking for a suitable plough for a Super Dexta, you said it's possible to pull a three furrow, but would a three furrow be asking too much of the tractor?

Hello Michael. You'll have to see if a '63 Super Dexta hitch will fit. If it will i have the hook in the mounting bracket with the arms that fit onto the lift arms. I'd been collecting bits from various places 'till i managed to get a complete set up. I'd give Ron Greet a bell in Devon ( 01803 81226...

Mudguard / Rollbar Bolts

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to remove the above bolts.I've got one set off, but the other two are seized solid. They've been sprayed with diesel and penetrating oil but still wont budge. Is heat the answer?

Hitch Release

Thanks for the Ebay tip Mervin. Did you see the price of these things? I'm going to have to sell off other parts of my tractor to pay for the bleedin' hitch! Thank you to Meanderer too for the cut & paste tip. I already knew this, but it's nice to know there are helpful guys out there willing to hel...

Re. rear linkage

Hello guys I recently bought a Super Dexta that didn't have a pick up hitch. I have only got the hook that sits inside an angle iron frame and the two rods that fit onto the top linkage arms. I don't even have the release lever. Can anyone suggest a tractor breakers where i might, if i'm very lucky,...
