Back again, on removing the rod I did not see a second hole for the spring but did notice some ware on the end of the rod that is bent to accommodate the pawl. So what I did was hook my spring over that section and down to the lug on the handle and bingo the button works perfectly. My opinion is tha...

Hi Guys enjoy your cool weather, we had a 34 centigrade today but still experiencing a lot of rain storms every afternoon with hail. Last week our city was hit by golf ball size hail stones, fortunately where I live we missed it.

Thanks Sandy, thanks for your response, I afraid there is not much left here of any cable looms of any older vehicles. I have however bit the bullet and ordered a new loom, key switch and light switch from Ireland, thought they looked reasonable.

Hi Guys, I require the red and green lenses that clip onto the loom that passes up through the fuel tank. I notice that most suppliers do not have stock, would it be advisable to buy the loom with the lamp fittings, globes and lenses encapsulated in what looks like heat shrink? Who would you advise ...

Folk I'm sorry to hijack this post, been a bit dim lately. Please can you confirm for me that the numerals on the RED wires on the diagram eg. #2 from starter motor to solinoid and #3 from coil terminal on cluster switch to other terminal on starter motor? :scratchhead:

Hi, why buy a Dexta fuel tank when you can have my spare tank for free, all it will cost you is to ship it from South Africa to where ever you live. :D
