I'll try to be carefull... :) What's the weakest part of the clutch? The springs? Can this be reinforced? How did Roadless solved this problem with their Ploughmaster? I believe it had a dual clutch as well. Only the 590e was adjusted to 75 hp. County's Super6 had a single clutch, so they had no pr...

I have had a similar thing happen. A Super Major ploughing with a TS82 plough when suddenly it stopped. We towed it from the field to the farm workshop and split it expecting to find the centre rivets sheared on the drive plate. Instead we found the clutch had exploded. The driver said he heard not...

Slow sites loading this forum
Is there a server problem or something? These forums sites are very slow compared to others on the net. Has someone else notice the same thing?

I would drain the rear axle and take the oil in a tight drum. You can drain in the spring all condensed water from the rear axle and fill the rear axle with the oil again. I would not do that because the oil prevents the water from evaporating when it sinks down to the bottom beneath the oil. If th...

To mill the right clearance off the top of the piston is doing the same thing but does not make the engine better in any other way. To grind the connecting rods you get them as good as new at the same time. The timing gear clearence is affected just by half of the new hight because of the ang...

It i a wery local product, and with local i mean it´s manufactured 1km away from here. I don´t think they have world wide export. Of course it don´t have...

It is better to fix i now or you are going to do it later anyway. Here is some pictures of my groove fixing with chemical metal and protection with tar. I choose a better quality of O-rings than the ones that came with the gasket set. They was of type Viton http://www.dupontelastomers.com/viton/?id=...

Cool. If you boom up as you are dumping the load it will keep the bucket from hitting the ground. As you become more perficiant, you will find that this will be neccesary as the dirt pile gets higher. Also, try to not drop the bucket so hard. The old time opperators will frown on that. Run it smoot...

Grani, Now that you have it digging, what did you finally come up with for the operator controls? Which lever and peddle does what? When i pull the right lever it hoist the boom and pushes the bucket back. To hold it up I have to press the right pedal. When I release the right pedal the bucket goes...

The centerlever is to open the hatch on the optional loader bucket. The swingbrake is automatic. I've never seen a back hoe with a trip door bucket. Unusual. Trip doors over here are used on shovel fronts which requires a crowd, which is double acting, a hoist to pick the load, and a mast winch to ...
