Can anyone tell me what sizes the front and back tyres are on a super major?

ok said the valve holds oil can a new one of these be got or a kit to repair it?

Yes its been dont not by me i aitn a mechanic but i have been told i need a Download valve i dont know what one is or where to get one does anyone here know?

I have been told i need a download valve for my fordson major be cause the back arms keep going down when the tractor is not running can anyone point me in the direction as to where to get one or has anyone a picture of what one looks like?

Ok so i need 40 ltrs for the Hydraulics how much do i need for the gearbox?

when filling the hydraulics how do i know when there is enough in it as there is no dipstick for it?

Ok i will do that or well get someone to help me as i dont know anything about mechanics the oil is the colour of baileys and has been for years there is a we dip stick beside the gear stick its the same colour is this all the one oil or wud that be the gear oil?

what type of oil do i need to get?

where abouts is the filter ? i was looking but could not see one

how far does your arms go up?

I tried turring the pto today with the tractor off and it in nuteral but it wont move

one thing when the arms do go up they dont go up the full way i can lift them up about another 7 inches but they fall down and stop where they had raised to them selves

i am not sure as i have nothing to put on them yet they only go up after a long time of reving the engine and at that they dont go 100% up full

Yes the pto is ingaged as the arms do raise all but very slow the oil lever is ok but the oil is the colour of bailies lol would it be the pump?

No no nothing on them they creep up after a wile of reving the engine up i am getting a link box for the tractor so need to get them working

O ok but i dont knw anything about it lol so can anyne help now we know its the top of a ordinary or powermajor

ok if its got disc brakes do they work ok for you ?

Hi there is only the lever to raise and lower the arms nothing else yes i am moving the lever fully up but nothing moves for a good wile and only with the engine been reved up

What kind of brakes are on the tractor?

The arms on my super major go down ok but take for ever to come up can anyone advise me ?

Hi David in Wales is ee your major has disc brakes how well do they work or have you had any problems with them?

One side still jamming on when i brake but the other side workes ok i changed the springs and ball bearings in the actuatior on the side thats locking and its still doing it

o right i though it was actually a far bigger thing its only a tiny we thing i see now
