Re: Membership Car Stickers/Tractor Stickers?
Brian ,the suggestion of a cap/beanie with "The Fordson Tractors Pages" is only an "idea", that would be upto Oscar and/or moderators to decide if it goes any further. Since I'm folliclely challenged,I'm always wearing a hat, normally a beanie to keep my head warm or a cap to keep the sunlight out o...

Re: Membership Car Stickers/Tractor Stickers?
I've often thought that a "Fordson Tractor Pages" cap and/or beanie would be a good idea. ( naturally in Fordson blue.)Brian, the gazebo that you want, is that so you can keep out of the sun because of the heat or so you don't get sunburnt? ( Over here in NZ, even on an overcast day you can g...

Re: Petrol engine rebuild parts
Peter, I would say it's most likely that engine parts for the petrol Dexta are the same as MF 35/135 petrols, but no doubt there will be exceptions as there will be unique parts for the petrol Dexta.(Like the top and bottem radiator hoses.)Let us know what you get and where you source your parts and...

Re: Small baler for Dexta
Ben, yes you can run the IH 440 on the back of a Super Dexta, as we did in the same paddock as in the picture, back in the 1980's, you just have to go slow and use the live drive. The Dexta on the other hand might just be too underpowered for a 440, but should run a IH B47 ( I've got one of them too,...

Good answer Ben.Yes other engines have been put in Dexta's ,but I personaly think with a Dexta it doesnt get any better than the Super Dexta engine. As for "Dexta's Perkins" TSGBensdexta wrote:Forgive me for asking, but why would you want to fit a 6cyl engine to a Dexta?

Pascal, can you date a Vicon Acrobat from a serial number? Down here in NZ the must be 100's of them. The one we have here, was probably purchased new in the early 60's or late 50's. TSG.
