Hello pascal,

nice work you have going on.

I never heard of meddo before, I looked at the site of them and maybe I come check it out. But it's quite a far ride, even with the car. we will see.

I haven't started the engine yet. I know that the engine stood in a shed for about 20 years, the man who owned it took the valv...

Hi mark, Nice pics of the international. I have one question about your pivot turning system as mine does not work properly. Does your front bolts (see the picture below) have lot of play? cause I machined these holes so a metric M20 bolt just can go in, so it does not have much "play". I can turn t...

Hi, I am also fitting a 6 cilinder 2700 series engine in my major. I just made a gap in my new side rails, but I made the side rails out of 8mm steel instead of 6mm. Are your afraid of the strength or the looks of it? You can have a look at my project here so you can see my solution: http://www.ford...

Henk, I have found the sizes of bearings and seals of the belt pulley you've asked me a while ago. 1x SKF bearing 6210 (50x90x20mm) no seals 1x SKF bearing 6406 (30x90x23mm) no seals 1x seal 65X90X13 R (innerdiameter needs to be a little bit smaller, but you can adjust the little spring inside, 64x9...

I just saw the video. Now I just want to hear my own one running. It's looking good. Last night I've got my hands one some Dexta pivot bars (right word?), with linkage to make a similar pivot turning point as you created. My first solution with one turning point just under the oil pan looked too fra...

Hi mark, Nice work again, it is looking great. I am also busy on the front axle support on my 6 cylinder major. Have you got closer pics of the how you mounted the T-20 steering rods to the "U-frame". I see you don't have one single turning point underneath the oil pan. I am curious how it turns wit...

is the geometry of the 1000 series the same and is only the hole pattern different or does the 1000 series front weight does not fit at all at the major front end?
I saw a set of 1000 series front weights which I would like to make them fit.

Ball joint Steering-links

Hi guys,

I am replacing all the weared parts on the steering links. Does anybody knows what the exact size are of the ball joints on the link from the steering house to the front (left) steering arm. Mine are worn so I can't measure them.

Thanks,

Arno

I tried to fit the belt pulley the way super6954 said, and it is in.

It's not bolted in yet, does anybody knows how much "play" it must have in the gear wheels?

thanks for the comments. I work at a machine shop as an ingeneer, I make a drawing of the most parts I need and someone in the shop machines them for me. The next time I need some parts I am going to make myself, haven't got much experience with a lathe and a mill, but I am going to give it a try. I...

Belt pulley does not fit

My power major came without a belt pulley, I have purchased one and replaced bearing and seals. Thermostat major / 2700 series engine

Does anybody knows if the thermostat of a power major is the same as the one used in a 2700 series engine. I wanted to order a new one but I don't know if they are the same.

Seal PTO- Rear transmission

I have made the gadgets to install the double lipped seal between the PTO and the rear transmission. When I tried to install the seal I noticed that the axle where the seal should be is about 52 to 55 mm in diameter (could not measure properly because the shaft is in the PTO housing) instead of the ...
