Had a look at the County yesterday, and I think it will be at least a month before I can get it. Have to get the truck quite close to pick ut up (its a non runner). Cab i...

County 7600 Four, have to to a big job on the motor. Looks a little rough, but mainly paint needed. 70% on the tires.

Several of these still operating in Norway. The digging wheel is made in Norway by Rådahl. They also used Countys for this work. Needed the Howard/County reduction box to get the low ground speed. http://79.160.23.49/~frode/bilder/DSC_0827-medium.JPG http://79.160.23.49/~frode/bilder/DSC_0828-medium...

Re: Snowblowing in Norway
Tomorrow I'm going to look at a smaller model, made for Major. Complete with subframe and prop-shaft. Driven from the rear pto. Would be a good match for the County Super-4.

Nothing less than this will cut it if you're serious.... :) Made in Norway by Øveråsen. Manufacturer of the only useable equipment for opening up mountain roads and clearing snow on airports :) Equipment is Øveråsen PW1100 with a 180hp Volvo D70 in the back turning the propellershaft for the blower ...

Very nice! Great to see some old photos :) Is the loader Malm Ørstad or Øveråsen? Looks like Øveråsen to me :) I have one just like this, I just havent had time to pick it up yet :) For all of you non-norwegians: Most of the countys in Norway were used in construction or in the forest. There were no...

Ok! Post some pictures anyway Has it been used in the forest?VonZU wrote:I'm from Jæren. 50km south of Stavanger.
The 754 is in a sorry state at the moment. It's been used hard for a lifetime, but is not beyond repair.
I'll make a project thread on it as soon as we start working on it again.

You can try Stewart Trailers in Scotland for parts for the Hara-cab. The owner is a genuine county-fan and fabricates parts for the cab in his shop. I think he can supply all the parts you need. I saw Mark had 1174 wiring looms for sale at his stand at the Blue Force Conversions Day in Lincoln a cou...

Always nice to a County being looked after and used properly and not as boat tractor either :curse: Is the brown RX 2 yours to frode? TSG. Hah! No its not a genuine. Not a RX2 anyway. Re: Pics of backhoe
How are you planing to mount it? The Major was very popular for backhoe-use here in Norwaty (County too). On almost every conversion I have seen, the u-channels connecting the front axle to the gearbox is replaced with a subframe extending down and back under the rear axle. This subframe is a part o...
