The short answer is NO. The reason your engine is tight is because you have new liners and rings. The liners have been honed and have a cross hatch file like finish. This finish is important, it "files" the rings so that they bed into the bore. While running in the rings also smooth out the hatch so...

Yes that first tractor is very nice. The wheel orange on that tractor may be more correct than mine but I am not sure.

Silver is correct as Brian said for replacement exhaust.

Yes great scenary Steven. Looking at the wheel colour on yours I note that it looks fairly subdued. Do folk make the mistake of painting with an orange that is too bright and hard? Were does the clour lie in relation to say Nuffield or Howard oranges? Brian reckons Howard Rotivator orange is close....

Oh yes, I had to replace the fuel pipe as the original leaked. That has since been painted.

I still havn't fitted the side lights. They are painted and I should get onto it.

My D series truck has the 380 CID engine. The tacho on my truck is is electric, not mechanical like the 590E engines. From memory the pick up unit bolts into the engine block and is driven by the oil pump. Its located in a bulge half way down the right side of the block.
