Re: County Track Rods

I think they are a county-only item. I recall Mark talking about soon going out of stock, and would have to had some made, and they would be quite expensive because of the relative low volume...

Re: Frode's County 7600 Four

Hi Frode, That must have been a great day! Did you managed to buy some parts? Or even a complete tractor? Did you managed to make some more pictures? How's the 7600 Four doing? Too many projects. The 7600 will have to wait until next year. I bought some seals for the front hubs on my 654 ...

They were talking about this in Norway too, but choose not to. One of the few things coming from Brüssel that we didnt follow :-)

So I still get to run my tractors on red diesel, and no tech inspections :-)

Norwegian Trencher fitted to Major

This is a Norwegian made trencher-unit fitted to a Major. They were made back in the day by "Rådahl". Parts are still available from "Fetsund Maskin". I dont think many were fitted to Majors. They were mainly used on County and Muir Hills. Theres quite a few Muir Hills operating still these days wit...

Re: Frode's County 7600 Four

As if driving another brand of tractor wasnt enough, my girlfriend has started studying in uk, and spent 4 days visiting her. Rented a car one day, and after 30 minute driving (on the "wrong" side of the road) I ended up here. Would you beleive that??? :D http://79.160.23.49/~frode/county/DSC_0688.J...

Re: Ford 5000 aux valve with assister ram question

There's a provision for hooking up the rams on the original fomoco-valves, as far as I know. I have two of them, will check later today.

Re: Dexta Backhoe?

You would dump the return line into a fitting at the filler plug. I would think the dexta hydraulics would have to little flow to get some decent speed on the controls on the backhoe.

6 bolt rims means major super-4. this one is extended though, you can see it on the prop axle. Theres a section between the sliding unit and the u-joint.

Re: Painting the County 654

I'm not fitting wheel weights in the back. Maybe on the front ones at a later time, they are not easy to get hold of here. The reinforcment on the rear rims where needed when working in the forest back in the days. It was not uncommon to "bend" the rims when using a big winch (and my 654 had a huge ...

Frode, According to your older post about your 654, you said you got it for free  I'm sure my father would be very envious of you (because of the fact that it's free). My father, an OFW, likes countys (even though he also likes one of those red and grey menace). but don't worry, he's got a s...

I asked Mark Osbourne (Who have the stock of County-parts in UK), and the only one he got was the "Super-4" sticker for the back of the seat. Would it be po...
