Re: 1962 Super Major Hydraulic Oil and Gearbox Oil
ive never removed one and not destroyed the seal. once seal case is off, get a solid punch about 12inches long and keep hitting. Or a set of pullers 3 ft long

Re: Pats latest problem
tractor hydraulics power the steering but the clutch is just like your car with a master cylinder and slave cylinder.
Doe did the whole lolt with master and slave cylinders, very simple when you see one in the flesh.
to get the longitudinal pivit there is a tube inside a tube running front to back.

Using the existing throttle lever on the right they are linked with cables.
Glad everyone likes it. Had mixed reviews. Some people saying it spoils two dextas but i dont care. I wanted to see if it was possible and it was.

Re: Dexta lift arms slightly dropping
sounds like the lift cylinder seal is passing. with the new thinner oil it will pass easier than the oil thicker oil. not az bad job, just remove the hydraulic top cover and replace the seal for a few pounds.

Re: Pats latest problem
A few years on and off because i got that fed up at times with ideas not going to plan so i kept leaving it to do other things. It works through electro hydraulics so wasnt a case of just copying a major doe. It was all different to everything else and all from my head. It pulls extremely well with ...

Re: Wiring problem
Unless you have wired it wrong the sender unit is faulty in the block. Check the resistance when the engine is stopped and when you start it the resistance should change.

Have you put a complete new harness in. If you have a 12v supply to the dynamo through the small wire you should have over 14v coming out of the big wire. If you do its your control box

Was that not just on early models.
