you might be better off to drill the standard arm and make a tubular sleve to weld on to make it look like the original and be stronger than the other approach

I have a pair of front weights to fit my super major and wondered if anyone knew whether they would be fitted with bolts or with studs and nuts

Thanks

This would be an early "waterwasher" fuel tank with the English end being at the dash board end and the irish end would be to use the old surplus ends up, sometimes the baffles inside are made out of surplus ends as well. It would be nice to see some pictures, to see some of the rest of the tractor,...

Plough Light

Hi,

How would the plough light have been wired in on a super major and what type of switch would have been used?

Also does anyone know if there is a correct position for it or if it was an after fitment?

Thanks Matt

all that you need is a fork that the valve stem will fit between to pry the valve spring up with and then tap the valve head down with a soft hammer and watch where the collets go if they fall out

Good Luck,

I have recently purchased a 4 furrow Ransomes plough, I think it is a TS59 but then there are variations on the 59 as well eg a TS59N, TS59R etc. Does anyone know what the differences are

Hi,

The best place for you to get a diaphram from would be auto electrical (Glastonbury)

Also have you cleaned the air filter out?

New Performance Lights

Hi

I have been looking at the lights fitted on NPSM tractors and was wondering whether the early thousand series type lights were ever fitted or if they were an aftermarket fitment and all of the majors used the same type.
