Re: My tractor`s
Thank you all for nice comment,s :D - (the swandri guy)-yes, I think you will also get your dexta even nicer if you want... Yes Ben it is a better simplier and good pickup hitch, as Magne Olav says too, I think better then the "threepoint pickup" hitch for the old fergies. It is also good and steady...

Hi all, At what pressure should the oil warning light go on/off? I think the sensor on mines had it so just want to check with a guage. Hope its not the mains! Also what pressures can I expect warm? 40psi tick over? 60 full revs? Cheers. Sins Dexta did,nt have any pressuregauge you have to mount so...

Re: Hi, I'm new here
Well - I installed the new radiator today - and it's a little different to the original - It seems to be about 10mm narrower, and the bolt holes on the bottom are a fraction closer together and the whole radiator sits slightly to the right (from the driver's perspective). It screwed into the chassi...

Re: New 1962 Dexta Purchase
Hi "My Dexta" - as all others old dexta,s is this known for most of them, in Norway I think one Dexta like your,s probably would cost abit less I think, but as I have seen in english marked or so, I think the price was fair, and as I think in N.l. even moore? It also depend of how many houres and ho...

Re: Oil in Clutch Housing
Hi john, I did this change of this two oilseals when I repaired a dualclutch at my 1960 Dexta some years ago. when oil is started to leak into clutch and bellhouse, it is best to change all this seals from engine and splines when tractor is splitted. you have to disamble the thrustbearing and two sp...

Re: Hi, I'm new here
Hi blue32 - I have done some reading on the axle seals - and it sounds rather involved. I'm pretty good with my hands but mechanical repairs are fairly new to me. Do I need any special tools to do this job or is this something I can do with standard spanners, torq wrench, hammer, screwdrivers, that...

Re: Hi, I'm new here
Well - probably no surprise - but I gave the cooling system a flush with a cleaning product on the weekend and water started spewing out the radiator. So, I just ordered a new radiator! It seems that the pump and thermostat are working okay though - so hopefully with a new radiator and hoses i'll f...

Re: My tractor`s
Hi, According to my book, the longer gearstick with plastic top came in 1960 (957E62654-), of course maybe diffent for Norway. It seems the secondary gearstick knob was again changed in 1962 from serial # 09B704134 on, to a threaded screw type black knob instead of the spring clip type. (From Servi...
