Smaller U-profile and much smaller in width. Which model is that for? [/ b] The right one looks the same as the middle one, but has the extra h...

Re: Lift arm brackets

https://www.fordsontractorpages.nl/ffcn ... index.html

I have bought, with the help of Pascal, lift arms and the brackets in 2005. Thats when I found out that the Power was the only model that uses these parts. It was then that I made the above page and I would like to extend it with the brochures.

All TS 59 have a depth wheel and cat2. Maybe it's a Robin for use behind a Dexta. Pictures will sort it out.

Re: Engine oil leak

According to Brian, the best way to do this work is to support the engine well and lock the rear wheels with the handbrake. This is importent for your safety. Remove the hood. Loosen the steering rod. Disconnect the lighting wiring. Drain the radiator and disconnect hoses. Loosen the U beams at the ...

Re: Whereabouts of WUF 704 Power Major

Just keep looking. Years ago someone asked through the website of our local classic tractor club if anyone knew where his grandfather's Fordson New Major had gone. Five years later the answer came from a trader I knew personally. He had bought the tractor from his grandfather and sold it on to anoth...

Thread on the Dexta

I have a question from a friend of mine. What is the thread on the Dexta series?
The Major is UNC / UNF, so I suspect with the Dexta as well, but the engine is made in England. Is it then equipped with Whitworth?

It's a thin bush that can be made on a lathe. It should be made from brons.
Mine has a grease niple. The bush should have a grease grove in the length with a hole corresponding with th greas niple.

Re: Starter motor whine and overheating

You see diesel, but is it enough. Could be dirt on the tapfilter or even water in the tank. So remove the fuel line from the tap with the tap closed and than open it. Look for any water coming out. If it runs enough diesel than work the fuel system op to the top of the diesel pump by cranking the di...
