Hi Guys,
There's a possibility of buying an "F" but I am guessing I might have to make an offer, how much do you guys think is a reasonable offer, it has not run for a very long time, possibly 30 years or even more, outside for most of this time, from what I remember it's complete (without wings). Any help would be appreciated.

Fordson F "how much"
Of the ones I have found advertised or sold at auction in the new tractor mags, One is offered at £1500.00, one sold at £5500.00 one is for sale at £8250.00 and one with no price on has been a regular advert for some months.
All claim to be in good condition with no cracks and are runners.

Also check the fuel tank bottom. Often over here they have been rusted though and are bottomless. Does it still have a timer and coils, or has it been converted to a mag? Does it have a belt pulley, or a foot rest? I once had a 1927 Fordson with a heat riser manifold that had the original Ford script on the spark plugs. Very nice running original tractor. When I sold it about 15 years ago, it brought $2500 US. The estate that it came from the owner said that he also had a cover that had fordson on it,
but he burned it because it had a few mouse holes.
That heat riser manifold had a mind of it's own. Sometimes it would start right up, somedays not at all. Cantancorous old chunk of iron. Some of the last of the Model T fords 1926, 1927 used a similer manifold, many were swaped out for a tried and true Holley NH carburetor and earlier manifold as they also had their good and bad days. Dandy Dave!

Have a Fordsonful day Folks!
