where be it to

Post by penntor »

Hi, 1st post on here. Been to a few vintage rallies this year, one reason being I am looking for my grandfathers old standard fordson. Don't want to buy it back but I have several old photos from when it was a working tractor and some paperwork from when it was supplied back in the 1940's that I would quite happily copy and pass on to the current owner.
Last time I saw it was when it was sold at a farm auction at Horndon, Mary Tavy, Devon in the late 80's or early 90's. Reg no. is GTA 614 and I believe it was bought by some one in either the Exeter or Newton Abbott area. Any info would be great.
Would post a picture of it but not sure how to.
Thanks

Welcome to the board.

A good start would be at this web site. It will tell you if the number is in current use.

www.taxdisc.direct.gov.uk-EvlPortalApp-Skin=directgov
Fordson Tractor Pages, now officially linked to: Fordson Tractor Club of Australia, Ford and Fordson Association and Blue Force.
