hello iam new to forum my dad bought his 1941 forson green number 873002 first reg 17 01 1941 reg number bnv 458 wide wing model he bought it 20 years ago to save it from scrap man he was comeing next day its in a very sorry state missing quite a few bits its time to move it again and its wondering if worth doing does any body know if theres any chance of finding some repairable wings as if could finds some i think i will tackle restoreing it or am i looking for gold dust iam a engineer so can tackle most things it also has a rear pto is this unuasual thank you ,rae

Hi Rae , this guy has wings in stock all the time apparently and when he advertised on Ebay recently they looked very good , the price was
the best I've seen , well worth a call if you are going to have a go ! really tough tractors ( mine had brambles in the pistons ! and I still only did the valves.) so hopefully the tinwork should be the worst part . Ian 0797174717 , ian@1stclasswroughtiron.co.uk
p.s . as the tinwork is usually the first thing to go I personally have never seen any usable s/hand ones for sale , also the rear pto is fairly
unusual .

i cant afford new ones worth more than tractor ill keep looking ,rae

Hi Rae , I think the wings were £300 and something and if you do a fair job of the tractor it should be around £2000 but you can get it all up and running and leave the wings till last any way then if nothing has turned up s/hand you can try him then .
