Fordson N PTO and Pulley

Post by its me »

Hi All,

Quick question, my fordson n Has a PTO fitted straight out of the gear box. What i was wondering is, is it possible to fit a Pulley as well as i do have the blanking plate over where the pulley would be.

Many thanks
Buster

If your N is like an F, which if I remember correctly the Rears are very similar, the answer would be yes. The original pulleys ran all the time the multi disk clutch was engaged. Some after market versions had a shift lever on the pulley unit to shut them off. These are the pulley units that bolt to the right side of the transmission housing. Dandy Dave!
