E27N King Pin Bushes

Post by 1949E27N »

Hi, just wondering if the E27N king pin bushes are common to any of the later model Fordsons?
Thanks,
Chris

I don't know if they are common to other Fordsons, but when I replaced mine about 20 years ago, I just bought them from the bearing supply. They are common imperial size.

Sorry, I can't say what size at this moment. The new ones are pressed in and the old ones long ago into the rubbish bin.

Newly fitted into the axle, they require reaming to size before the spindle will fit in.

I'm fairly sure that all the majors are the same kingpins right through to the super major , also the pivot bearings ,
I think the only difference between the axle's is the trackrod arms being longer on the E27N . regards Tim.

Hi, just thought I'd let those interested know I successfully used Bareco B6630 bushes.

See below for fitment guide.
