Hello,
does someone know what material the valve chamber cover gasket is made of and how thick its should be?
Regards from Holland,
Paul.

Re: gasket
Hi
The gasket should be cork. if you are making one i would say somewhere around 1/8th to 3/16th of an inch if the plate is true and not bowed / bent
. I made one for mine and its a bit thicker than 1/4 inch. The face surfaces where pitted, and I wanted to make sure it squashed up really well to seal. Plus it was a left over off cut from another job, so it was free
and it worked good
.
