e27n positive earth?

e27n positive earth?

Im on wiring my p6 up and seem to remember that they were positive earths. Is.this correct?. What difference will negative earth give.

The only thing that may be a problem is the charging system. Everything else will work. Sometimes if you polarize the dyno. and regulator/ cut out, all will work anyway in either direction that it is polarized to work. Look in your manual, and the polarity should be in the wiring diagram. Dandy Dave!

Yeh i knew i had a manual somewhere. Found it today and it is positive earth.

Just waiting for a new regulator to arrive and all should be well.

Just to be sure I would flash the dynamo to re-energise the magnetism.

By putting a negative on both tetminals?

Not sure what you have for a regulator. Most systems are polarized by flashing a wire from BAT (Battery) terminal to a F (field) terminal. Dandy Dave!
