Harvest Gold Paint

Post by Spanners »

I have a 1938 Fordson N which has been repainted green. I would like to return it to the original harvest gold colour. Does anybody know the correct paint colours or codes for harvest gold, as most that I have seen have been repainted a rather strong Howard rotovator orange which isn't quite right. The original paint appears to be more of a yellow shade.
Many thanks in anticipation.
Simon.

try craftmaster paints in Cambridgeshire they do engine and coach enamel and it really is beautiful paint, best if slightly warm and cleans up with white spirit

Thanks Chriss for a reply, I have discovered that the cover on the side of the gearbox is still in it's original paint, so I should be able to get it matched. Craftmaster was one of the paint companies I had in mind. :D

Hi Simon,

Nice to hear you using the words 'Harvest Gold' instead of 'Yellow'. Hope you get sorted out with a shade from your side plate. Let us know how you get on.

Regards,
Derek
