Lucas Engine Oil Treatment

Post by SkidRoe »

Hello All,

Is anybody out there using Lucas in any of their splash-lubed Fordsons?

I recently put a quart in both our N and E27N, with good results.

Our N is likely due for rings, and has been fouling plugs. Since putting in the Lucas, this seems to be greatly reduced.

Our E27N has never been a smooth runner, and was re-ringed last year with not much improvement other than reduced oil consumption. I actually poured in a quart of Lucas while it was running, and the idle smoothed out instantly - wish I would have recorded it as it was hard to believe. It plowed for 4 straight days at the IPM, and never missed a beat. Oil consumption is even further reduced.

Anybody else seen similar results?

Like I have seen Brian state in some of his posts, I have no relationship with the Lucas Oil Company, just a satified customer.

Cheers - SR
