SMITHS 3PL HYDRAULIC SETTINGS

Post by CHARLIEMAC »

I'm chasing a hydraulic schematic diagram and settings for a Smiths 3PL lift on an E27N - 1949. Does anyone have one or know how I could find one on the internet?

hi hears a couple of old posts that i think may help some of my conclusions were wrong in the vid cross reface the other posts basically the oil travels in a loop from the holding area the handle has 3 cams on it in lift 1 compresses sprung adjustable tappet that’s the blow off that forces the oil thru a none return valve into the ram and external supply if held on the spring compresses and drops the pressure another adjustable push rod pushes on another cam 2 at just under blow off and returns the handle to the free flow position the 3 cam pushes yet another rod that pricks the non return valve and lets the oil out to drop the arms setting figs are in the posts all in the manual ether oringal or old 20 b
