High revingin fun

Post by CalGG »

I forgot to include on the much too lengthy post regarding "escapades".
That during the extraction process, the E27n engine would keep increasing her motor speed even while I was working with cable and chain elsewhere.

Once back to the shed, It was easy enough to see the trouble. A small white stone had come to rest on the governor arms and was jambing up the works.
Vibration allowing only a one way motion. Faster and faster! ;-)

The stone was removed, and the idle revs dropped to tick over just a sweet as can be. I'm not sure if the color of the stone was a factor, but I bet dollars to doughnuts that most of us would be hard pressed to find a stone that would stay rested in that location. ;-)
