e27n single lever hydraulic lift
I cannot find the place to fill the lift with oil. The pictures I have shows the filler on the back plate but mine does not have this. Does anyone know where the filler plug mat be?
Re: e27n single lever hydraulic lift
Hi,
What does your back plate look like?
In this picture (thanks to www.stonyfordtractors.com.au) the filler plug is clearly visible.

Re: e27n single lever hydraulic lift
Thank you very much. I was confused by the diagrams I had seen. I have now filled the unit and the arms have lifted right away. Only problem is they don't come down when I pull the lever to 'down'. Any ideas?

Re: e27n single lever hydraulic lift
Put some weight on them!

Alternatively, if you look carefully at the base of the operator arm (hand control lever or what ever you choose to call it), you will see a headless screw with a stop nut.
Loosen the nut and back off the screw a turn, and the lift levers will likely fall unloaded.
That adjustment is used to set the fall rate as a function of implement weight.
