Hi
I am restoring a Fordson N and probably a very common fault is that the inside of the little petrol tank is rusty, while I believe it's sound the rust is just flaky and blocks the fuel lines up has anyone used Slosh tank sealer to fix this problem and can recommend this product?
Thanks

Not used Slosh, but others on this forum have - just search!
I used Caswell, said to be the best esp for biodiesel, which we now have. Need to kill the rust first - see Caswell web site. No probs after 4 years.

Re: Rusty tank
I've used Hammerite, thinned down with ordinary cellulose thinners and sloshed around, after having rattled nuts or ball bearings around the tank in hot washing soda to clear the loose rust out (and then dried!) - not tried Slosh or the like but a few coats of the above continues to last in some of my earliest SE restorations.
Best regards
