Fordson Model F Ignition System

I have no idea how this Ignition Sytem works . Anything (tutorial) (anyone) available to explain it?

It is the same system that Ford used on the Model T. Have a read of these:

Where are you in the world? If the UK I have a great contact who can rewind and reinsulate the stator, remagnetise magnets and recoil, reinstate and setup the coils if you need them doing. Just had my stator plate done I am am super happy with it.

You are not too far from one of the biggest Fordson F collectors in N.A. - Duane Helman in Rosewood, OH. He is a great wealth of information and parts.

:D Thank you , I actually meet him many years ago and lost track , now that I retired and became serious about this tractor recovery . I had his card lost it , forgot his name , your right he is very helpful . thanks again

If you want to get a hold of him, look up Rosewood Machine Shop. He likely won't be there, but it is still family run, and they can put you in touch with him.

I have visited his farm a couple of times. He has an amazing collection, and not just tractors.
