E27n back wheels locked up

When out driving one day all of a sudden the tractor back wheels locked up solid. Was going in and out of gears fine but was not moving . I then moved the hi/low gear stick up and down a couple of times and away it went. I think possible a ball from a bearing maybe jammed the gears. Any ideas before i split the tractor.

You posted your question titled "E27N Back Wheels Locked Up" under the E27N section. I was confused by your reference to "moving the hi/low gear stick up and down". E27 N Majors do not have a High/Low Range gear lever, just the one gear lever on the left selecting 3 forward and one reverse gear. So do you have a E27N major or an E1A Major? It makes quite a difference when trying to diagnose your back wheels locking up.
