Rust in the fuel tank of my 1945 Fordson N

Hi can anyone help me with cleaning the inside of the fuel tank, there is an awful lot of rust and bits.
Does anyone have any tips.

You've got a big job there, and a very important one. As it's rust you'll need to get something fairly aggressive in there to start with (someone else used gravel in a Major tank). You'll need to remove everything from the tank as otherwise it will get damaged. Once the rust is away use fuel in there until it's clean, and once clean never let it get dry.

Maybe a hand full of nuts and bolts in there - count them first - tape up the openings and strap it to an electric cement mixer drum. Adjust the angle every so often to get all the corners, then empty it counting all the blots etc so you know you've got them all. Rinse with vinegar, then a lining of KremeCoat or similar.
