Here they are.
Vintage Tractor Show on the Norfolk Showground. 20/21 April 2013

Blue Force Stand on Friday 19th.

Dotty on duty

Petrol/Parafin and L4 E27Ns on parade.

Three from the fine collection of one of my ex colleague and good friend, Fred.

One of the Doe 130s on display.

Peterbuilt Display Truck.

Anyone want a few spares? These were for sale in the auction on Saturday morning.

If you felt in need of a lift these were also for sale.

One I would have liked to take home. Not totally original but could be easily returned to “As New” Even got the long air cleaner stack that was fitted from new, many were chopped off and the bowl mounted close to the cowl

These two ran well.

Not often seen, a local made vaporiser for Fordson tractors from Loddon Engineering.

Oliver 4WD.

SBWD 6 International.

Ann wanted this one for the garden!

P6 conversion in a Nuffield PM carried out in the early 1950’s.

Seen in the internal display area in the new building on the Show Ground.

An ultra-rare Select-O-Speed Doe 130. As far as I know only two were built and one of those went to Africa from Wrights of Dereham. I could not get any information on this one as the owner was not on the Showground but it has a completely different control system to the one I worked on.

The Blue Force display area started to fill up throughout the Saturday and eventually there were around 30 Ford and Fordsons here by Sunday lunchtime.

Some beautiful scale model steam engines.
Now to the big boys toys!

Gardner in an E27N, around 80hp.

When they tried to take this Twin City around the parade ring she ran out of petrol. She used 4 gallons in getting from the shed to the ring a distance of around 20 yards and a time running of about 7 minutes. No wonder they towed the 15 ton bulk out with the Gardner Major which hardly broke into a sweat doing it.

The ultra-rare Nelson tractor, 4WD and 4 wheel steer with a chain drive.

Memories!!!!!!

The Fordson Tractor Pages display in the Blue Force Tent.

A very nice Selene converted 5000 that was in the sale and found itself a new home.

The 7000 again.

Row crop “N” in the Ford and Fordson Club display.

Howard Trencher on Rotopeds.

A nice pre-Force 3000.
All in all it was a great show with terrier racing, heavy horse display, rare old cars including a Stanley Steamer, cooking demonstrations and plenty of food and brick-a-brack stalls. The weather was beautifully bright, sunny and warm for early Spring but the punters just did not turn up which was a great pity.

Yes, We have not heard from Brian for a while. I thought it was because he was resting from his Australian Holiday. Maybe it is because we have become better at answering questions??? Pop in and let us know how you are doing from time to time.henk wrote:Nice pictures Brian. Thanks. Glad to hear from you again.

Start saving for that ticket Dave!!!!! There is a Blue Force organised show on the Newark Show ground being organised as we type. 1000 Ford and Fordson tractors from day 1 of production. They hope to get a model from every stage of development.
Will post more information as and when I get it. There will be a petrol Dexta dedicated display if I can arrange it.

The dates of the Blue Force 1000 are 28th-29th June 2014 and it is to celebrate 50 years of the '000 series so you have plenty of time to save up Dave.
We have been asked to do a special Petrol Dexta display so need to start thinking about that soon if anyone can bring one or two.
