New Byth Rally

Post by blackbob »

Remember everyone - Byth Rally this weekend (1st July).. and it doesn't forecast rain!!

Sorry we don't have a website or anything.. although we do get a little mention on the, rather gloomy, Wikipedia page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Byth

A couple of photos from last year, when there were rather a lot of Fords present:

Entry at the gate is only a few Scottish £'s, and I don't think anyone would mind if you just turned up on Sunday morning with a tractor.. See you there! :D

A couple more from last year:

This is how the Fordson was transported to/from the rally - behind the Ferguson.. I guess from not far away..

I'm still not sure about the colour of the 6-cylinder Super Major - but I think I like it..

Great photos Bob.
My father went to New Byth rally every year when he was alive with his trusty old transit and vintage stationery engines in the back and the caravan in tow.
