pulling motor

pulling motor

just about ready to pull the motor out on super major. my manual has not arived as yet, so i noticed 6 countersunk bolts on the flywheel, if i take them out will the clutch assmby, stay behind? or does one take out the whole assembly with the motor? hope for some help till my manual can help me out. thank-you

The clutch comes with the motor. The countersunk screws hold the starter ring gear onto the flywheel. Careful when you pull her free, the engine will be flywheel end heavy and may drop out of the sling/chain if it is not in the right place.
