indeed it is - I have seen similar injector pumps on David browns & some jcb machines - but they are certain not the same pump - but tracking a minimec pump is hard - let alone not knowing if it was on some thing othe that a super major !

There should be a tag and ID/ Serial numbers on every pump made. A good pump shop should have the info as the pumps need to be calibrated to manufactures specifications. Also with these numbers you should beable to look up what the pump was originally intended for. Dandy Dave!

Hi
I wonder if you will find that pump was used on the early Ebro copy tractors from Spain that had the Super Major engine fitted. The only other place i think you might find it may be in a machine that used a Fordson Super Major engine or skid as a drive unit .
There are a lot of similar looking pumps out there that may share some components. But i'm thinking the front pump mounting lug might be unique to that style Fordson motor .
Both mountings are quite different to the vacuum governor pumps on earlier tractors they might match something else easier with 4 bolts in the base.
I just also thought about if the last true Ford 4 d truck motor had this pump before the change in the mid 60's to the timing case mounted pump  . I would guess the pump cam shaft may be different in being longer and come out the rear of the pump, to drive a brake actuator pump Instead of the tractor rev counter. My old 6d vacuum governor pump had this longer shaft on it.
Maybe our ford truck guys could tell us  .
Regards Robert
