Re: help
Your tractor is an April 1959 Power Major so you should have a dash panel under the steering wheel with dynamo and oil pressure lamps + temperature gauge on one side and the rev counter on the other. You will have a main loom that goes from the dynamo to the regulator mounted next to the air cleaner, it will also have two wires for the front headlamps on one side only, you will need a link loom to the lamp on the other side. There will be wires to the solenoid and then two wires to the start switch on top of the starter. You should be able to lay the loom alongside the engine and get an idea of which wires go where. Problem with after-market looms is that they do not always use the correct colours so you may have to work out which goes where from their positions. Things like the Dynamo Field and Power terminals should be the same colour at both ends and will fit in the "F" and "D+" terminals on the regulator. Although not specific to Fordson tractors this diagram will give you quite a few clues to where the wires go.

You will also need a short loom to come from the dash panel, down next to the steering column and connected into the main loom near the starter lever.
The Super Major wiring diagram already posted on your other post is what you need. The parts diagram which I posted will give you a guide to where things go and what you need.
