Yes, sorry about that, Origin -- but one is never sure about the capabilities and expertise of others, which means there are times when the unnecessarily obvious is pointed out. And I agree, one is never too old to learn. Even though I'm in my late 70s and, like Robert, have a City and Guilds of London in agricultural engineering, as well as working at NIAE on experimental machinery for a while, when I needed to overhaul our Deutz DX110 a few years ago the help available on the Deutz website was invaluable -- even with the shop manual to hand. And indeed, this site is invaluable for anyone owning a Fordson.

I've been Wrenching on everything from weed wackers to D-8 Caterpillars for more than 40 years and still need to look stuff up all the time.
When I was 14 years of age, I knew everything.
Now it seems the older I get, the less I relize I know.
