PTO Trouble
I used the saw bench two days running with no problems, put the drum mower on next day and the PTO wouldn't turn. Mower turns, PTO shaft turns by hand and with the engine running but as soon as the mower's back on there's nothing doing.A new clutch is £600 but a plate is around about £40. Am I just looking at replacing the friction plates, or is there something else causing the problem? It's a live drive, by the way.

Re: PTO Trouble
Its not unusual to shear the rivets on the clutch plate that attach the center splined hub, I would check the obvious things first, is it engaging in gear, PTO shaft not broken, etc. if all is OK, split her apart and check out the clutch to see what is going on.
