A bunch of us went to my uncles to play last weekend, we plowed under a good forty acres and had a blast!
The County was pulling 3-16’s and the Selene was pulling 3-14’s, and both with no problems, my apologies for the (non blue) tractors in the pics!
We could all meet up at Emiel's with our tractors and ploughs and help him and his father with their after harvest cultivations before moving on to Meddo in September!
Pat, at least I am green sitting here! I am green with envy! I always wanted a Super 6 of that era.

Thanks guys!
My County is a Super 4, and I to would love to get my hands on a early Super 6 in the factory sheet metal………but I won’t be holding my breath. I was horribly lucky to get my hands on this thing and my Selene….it was one hell of a year, but the chances of finding a Fordson Super 6 in ether sheet metal, anywhere close to this side of the country is slim to none. Just trying to find a six cylinder for the last thirty years I have came up empty handed.
However I am quite sure there are a few County’s on tracks somewhere here in Wisconsin, I’ll keep poking around and ya never know……….
Nice way to spend a day Pat and thanks for the film - much as I love Majors, there is something about the sound of a Johnny Popper (or Field Marshall) in harness that old Blue can't quite cut.
I've been busy chasing rustholes around my broken mudguard support channels with a stick for a few days, (think super size Aero bar hits the fan for finish) now structurally sound again but with so many burn marks I've given up on keeping the linseeded off farm finish in favour of primer and Empire Blue to preserve, it'll fade nicely over the next 60 years - also rewired the lights - I'd sooner have been ploughing
