Hello all:
HELP!!
Im having trouble with the hydraulics on the 3 point linkage. I have a 750kg chipper that I plan to use on the major, it will lift the chipper up fine( 2200psi), but after the valve trips is looses pressure very quickly and the chipper slowly lowers. I have had the cylinder honed out and a brand new piston built to accommodate better model seals. I have also had the spool block apart and replaced every seal possible and had the relief valve re seated and more shims to increase pressure. What have I missed?

Hello,
Are we talking about a major here or a super major?

Re: Hydraulics
Hello Talon and welcome to the FTP forum.
I have the same problem. Have done everything even twice.
The only thing that can't be done is the valve that regulater the oil flow. It needs a very narrow fitting. Any groves or something else that lets othe oil go by will lower the lift.
If only I knew how to salve the problem.
I use a removeble beam under the liftarm to prevent that the plough is not ploughing the street upside down.
