Hi, I'm Rob and have recently taken custody of a hienz E1A Major.
I describe it as such as the engine colour doesn't match the bell housing, it has power Major front wheels and bonnet badges, the bell housing dates as '57, the hydraulic top dates as '59, the bonnet has an exhaust hole but the pipe comes up the outside etc., - you see where I'm coming from...
Having been stood 15 years, it starts and runs ok, brakes are iffy and a few bits missing, but over all a good starting point.
I've had previous experience with Ransomes, Allis, Ferguson, MF, Ford, County, Fiat, and others but this is my first foray into the black magic of the E1A world.
I'm sure there'll be a lot of questions as I go but as it's stored elsewhere activity will be intermittent.
Thanks in advance, some questions are likely to be basic stuff that I should know but, well, age and the odd woolly hat moments will intervene.
Regards, Rob.
