Hi guys
I have bought a new up rated dual clutch from agriline for my super major. I have tried everything to fit it and get it to work but can't. Has anyone fitted one of these who can offer some advice because agriline has been of no help. No instructions no setup guide. I rang and they said have I take the transport bolts out but couldn't tell me which they were. Then they did send me a picture of what to take out but the clutch fell to. Bits when I did.
Thanks

Re: Agriline new improved dual clutch
Hi Philip
I have not had any personal experience of this new live clutch but others have said it is a much heavier duty item than the original clutch with the aluminium cover.
I am surprised Agriline have not been able to help you, keep having a go at them.
Railswood Tracors, who are out and out Ford and Fordson specialists, do the same clutch at £635.00, it might be a bit cheeky but they are helpful people, give them a ring on 01922691563 and they might give you some advice.

I should of got one off them. I am not impressed with agriline and their customer service at all. Clutch is nearly £700
Re: Agriline new improved dual clutch
I actually got someone from agriline who was really helpful. I have a plan of attack I will post back when I get it completed with some advice for others to view if they buy 1 and get stuck.
Re: Agriline new improved dual clutch
I bought mine over a year ago and the clutch plates had shifted slightly in the housing. They would line up with the transmission drive shafts but not the engine. I finally had a pilot tool made similar tho the ones used for auto clutch installation. A little "nudging" and we got the housing so it would line up with the bolt holes. After that it was easy.
I still have the pilot tool LMK if you want to use it.

Re: Agriline new improved dual clutch
I forgot to update my post. It appears something was wrong with the clutch when it was shipped so when I bolted it in the clutch wouldn't move. I contacted agrilline sales who had me do all sorts of messing I was misinformed by the sales person at agrilline who told me to remove the bolts that hold the whole thing together whatever you do don't do that the clutch plates will come out. In the end I had to send the clutch back to agrilline they fixed it and sent it back to me. All you need to do with one of these is bolt it in you don't need to set anything up at all. If it wasn't faulty in the first place I wouldn't of needed to split and put the tractor back together 10 times.
