Re: Lift arm brackets
These were used on Power Majors from 1524079, to improve weight transference. They were then discontinued for the Super Major. You should also have check chain brackets with two holes for the shackles.
This thread has the service sheet with these bits described.

‘Henry Ford, Cork’. Strange to see that on Power Major literature. Was the Irish factory still functioning?

Re: Lift arm brackets
I think it remained important to spite the cork factory being long out of use, in a film in Ford & Fordson on film 2 they mention it as the Tractor Division "base".

I have bought, with the help of Pascal, lift arms and the brackets in 2005. Thats when I found out that the Power was the only model that uses these parts. It was then that I made the above page and I would like to extend it with the brochures.

Re: Lift arm brackets
The extra bits are the fulcrums for the pick-up hitch linkage. Unlike the Major pick-up hitch the Super Major hitch can work independently of the 3-point linkage.

Re: Lift arm brackets
Excellent pics Janus! I hadn't yet seen the Super Major bracket with ato. clutch release , and had assumed that there were so few made that none had survived, but I'm relived that there are still some left.

Re: Lift arm brackets
Thanks Janus,
I have a few questions.
Number 2 and 3 photo:
The left one is the normal arm of the New and Power model.
The middle one has a different shape. Smaller U-profile and much smaller in width. Which model is that for? [/ b]
The right one looks the same as the middle one, but has the extra hole for the pickup hitch.
Image number 5:
The top bracket is for the New and Power model.
The second is for the Super model.
The third, is this for the quick release of the New and Power Major?
And the bottom bracket, would that be the same for the Super Major? Or is it the right one for the pickup hitch?
I have a few questions.

Re: Lift arm brackets
Henk the two on the RH side of pic 3 are Super Major arms; the middle one is std and the RH one is for the pick-up hitch. In pic 5 the top two are std and the bottom two are the ato. clutch release top link brackets.

Re: Lift arm brackets
Fantastic pics again Janus! I didn't know that the E27N had ato. clutch release; and the brochures are brilliant, showing good views of fairly rare extras and explaining why they were offering them.
