Fordson Super Major Handbrake

Hi I have recently fitted a new handbrake to the Super Major I am restoring as the old one was bent out of recognition. But when refitting the fuel tank last night found that the handbrake fouls on the fuel tank meaning you cannot fully release the handbrake. I am wondering if there is a different type of handbrake lever I should have fitted, maybe cranked out/shorter to clear the tank. Any help appreciated and if there is another type where you can get one.

Can you post a pic of it? If it's brand new it might be a mistake by the supplier.

As far as i know, there are 2 versions

There were several versions, but a new one might not conform to any of the original ones. Pics will sort this easily.
