Hi Guys,
Anyone purchased a loom from the UK and been pleased with results?
In particular, looking for a loom to plug straight onto my 4x spade terminal regulator. Many looms dont show these in the photo.
Some research...

Wiring loom - best quality supplier. 1954 FMD

Do you still have good original wires? If so keep them, as they're right and should give no trouble. Your regularor is too late (used from 1542263 onwards), you should have five screw-on terminals, and a bakelite cover clipped on on the correct type regulator.

You will find that many of the suppliers sell the same loom (and other parts) produced by the same (usually foreign) manufacturer but at sometimes widely different prices! Often exactly the same picture is used but with a different logo in the background - Agriline, QTP, etc etc. There are not that many manufacturers worldwide of parts for these old machines as the quantities involved are not economic to tool up for.
Autosparks sell some decent quality electrical parts and Old 20 have different and sometimes better lines to others on some of the parts but have less items available. Another one to consider is Dunlop Tractor Spares, they have some components specially made for them by UK and Irish manufacturers, parts that you cannot source elsewhere, they may have looms manufactured locally.

Must have been changed over the years.

Just looking through Dunlop Tractor Spares lists and their looms are GB made.

Autosparks or airfawn would be my suggestions. I believe airfawn make vintage tractor harnesses for a number of aftermarket suppliers and are UK based.
