Why did you want his number? (for hay?) if so i will ask him if he has some left to sell and get back to you.

Thanks Chris

Brian looks to be right( he's always right) about the spacer on the bottom of the exhaust spring.
Mine will be an export engine and has rotator caps on both exhaust and inlet, so what Brian said about rotator caps only being on exhaust (in the UK) could well be right.
They don't call him "Brian the Brain" for nothing

The caps you see here on the intake valves are not rotator caps, they were introduced on lorries for the Mk2 Thames Trader, from similar changes in tractors I would expect at 08B-756400 (not found any details yet). They were made to make full use of the modified heavier duty rockers fitted around that time, valves for them (510E-6507B) are 1/8" shorter and are not interchangeable unless the short one has the cap and the long one doesn't and the later rockers are fitted. The part number is E97-CP-5. I don't think tractors used this, don't know much more, I don't think Ebro used them. I think Kev's engine is industrial from the colour and parts.
