I must be getting close to a record time for doing a major clutch surely ??
5 hours, from parking tractor to driving off again..???
Certainly have had much practice over the years but this was my fastest yet!!!!!!!

On the Ford and Fordson range we had it down to a fine art, we could fit a Major clutch in around an hour if conditions were right and things went well.
However 5 hours is not bad at all.

i am thinking i am going to have to chage my clutch.
it is very high on pedal with no more adjustment left, i cannot get pto to engage either.
when i built tractor pressure plates looked ok, can i just wind out the bolts on all 6 fingers or will this make no difference.
if i do need new plates how hard is it to re build the clutch assembly.
thanks Brett.
