Super Major Lift Arm Length?

Post by maddyn99 »

Hello there !

I just purchased a 1960 Fordson Super Major. All of the 3 point components are missing. I am having trouble locating lift arms. I found one set in a local salvage yard, but it looks like they might have been cut and welded back together. Can anyone tell me what the total length of the lift arms should be from center of end hole to end hole?

Also can anyone recommend a good salvage company preferably in Texas, but anyone in the US at this point would be great.

Check this page.

Please list any salvage yard on that list or topic.

I saw some for sale on eBay not long ago. You could email the guys that are selling Major parts on eBay and ask them if they have any arms for sale. The holes are about 37" from center to center.

Thanks for all the info. I think I found a replacement set from a salvage yard here in Texas. He says its from a Major, but that it will work on my Super Major. At least now I can get him to measure the length and verify that.
