Views on cabins.
Re: Views on cabins.
I would like to put the headlights back on the sides as it was originally. But I intend to use a loader as well so I need to make some compromise. I dont like the look as it is now.

Re: Views on cabins.
You could put the lights lower in the grilles, Super Major style, it would look traditional then and not interfere with the loader. Maybe it had pallet tines on it if was used at the Koln factory, so the lights would have needed to shine down on the bottom of a pallet for loading? I had a 2.0S Ford Capri built at the Koln factory!

Hi,
For as far as i know al Fordson tractors sold in Germany had a ford köln dataplate fitted instead of the original Dagenham one. Probably something to do with German legislation.
We had some with a German data plate. Think ford tractors had better 2nd hand value in the netherlands than in Germany.

Re: Views on cabins.
The brackets look like those for the old, tubular Horndraulic loader. Superseded soon afterwards by the more conventional box-section model.
Re: Views on cabins.
That does look like a Köln plate, notice they wewe still putting the serial number there well after Dagenham stopped doing it.

Hi,
Without a riveted data plate you can’t register any tractors in Germany. They had to to be able to sell them.
