having mastered the hydraulics on my super major,i have now bought a diesel major which lifts ok most of the time but can be a little jumpy, but the the main problem is the arms drop.
they go down almost instantly with a 9' pigtail cultivator on them.
would i be right in thinking the main seal is in the section under seat that the lift control lever is connected too.
cheers brett

The valve chest comes off and the seal is in the cylinder behind it. You may find the whole lot comes out as one. The cylinder is like a sleeve. There is no heavy lifting :P

Henk did you replace all the o rings and the big o ring in the cylinder, or just the seal on the piston.
i changed every seal and o ring i could find just a thought maybe you missed the one that is leaking.

Super6,

I have replaced all the o-rings when I overhaul the complete system a few years ago. I think my problem is at one of the two valves.
