Hello Brad,

Welcome.
There should be shutters. On my 1957 major are also shutters and I use them often.

hello henk
do you have any pictures so i can see extactly how it works?.i understand the point on a petrol/tvo tractor to warm up the engine to run on tvo.but the diesel tractor is a very good starter so what benfit do you gain with the shutter?.

Hello Brad,

Sorry no pictures. Don't know if you can see anything at the parts list.
A diesel runs at it's best at a high temp. For light work at normal outside temperature the engine will not raise up to max. temp. So closing the shutters will raise it. Only when I'm driving full speed in mid summer I have to open the shutters a bit.
