At 4 p.m. there has come to my house the seed drill of 14 lines, ex-haulage for two or three horses, which my friend Pau gave me: I have lacked time to connect my Ebro 470 and to prove it: it works as a clock.

The Ebro 470 is a Fordson Super Major with the engine of the Massey-Ferguson 178: I already said to them that all the Ebro were constructed under patents of Fordson and/or Massey - Ferguson. They are not copies.

Nice old seed drill in excellent condition. I bet the tyres would be hard to replace. I remember seeing similar units here many years ago but have not seen one in use in a very long time. Thanks for the memories. Dandy Dave!

The tires are 4.00-36. At the moment I have not found them. A workshop specializing in tires has proposed to me to repair the one that has a crack of 8 inches: they do frequent repairs of tires impossible to find.

My neighbor Isidre is hoping that the tire should be repaired to sow the wheat and the oats with my seed drill and his Ebro Diesel (=Fordson New Major).
